Out first step together is to get crystal clear on WHO you need to hire to take your business to the next level. In this session we are going to create your organization chart - what I like to refer to as your Team Growth Chart - and identify who you need to hire next.

This lesson includes:  

  • Identifying the most important ROLE in your business
  • The 3 essential functions of a growing business
  • The 6 areas of responsibility that need to be served by your team 
  • What to outsource first (and what to keep on your plate!)
  • Creating Measures of Success for each role in the business
  • A simple formula to determine who to hire next 

Our goal for this session is to create your org chart and identify your next best hire


WEEK TWO  

Creating your Job Posting

Once you are clear on who you need to hire next, it's time to start the hiring process. 

This lesson includes:  

  • Determining your aligned team budget (not too much, not too little)
  • 3 options for how to pay your team members (hourly isn't the only way!) 
  • When to hire contractors/freelancers vs. when to hire employees 
  • A template to create a job posting that will attract strong candidates 
  • Where to post your ad to find the best people  

Our goal for this session is to get your job posted (so applicants can start rolling in)


WEEK THREE  

Interviewing & Choosing the Right Person  

You've put your job posting out there and candidates are rolling in... how do you choose the right one?

This lesson includes:  

  • How to sort through and shortlist candidates to interview (and what to do when you have too many candidates!)
  • A pre-interview strategy to prep for your calls
  • Our 3 part Interview 'Script' so you know exactly what to ask on your call
  • A Decision Making Checklist to help evaluate your options and decide on who to hire
  • Agreements and the 'dating period' 

Our goal for this session is for you to book interviews and make your hire!


WEEK FOUR  

Onboarding Your New Hire

You've found someone - woo hoo! Now it's time to integrate them into your business and get the ball rolling. 

This lesson includes:  

  • Setting expectations and 'measures of success' for the first 90 days
  • Communication & Accountability agreements
  • How to give them access to what they need (securely!)
  • Introducing them to the rest of the team
  • Weekly team meeting agenda

Our goal for this session is to onboard your new hire and get working!
