Having been in the online service industry now for 20 years, here's what I know to be true.  

There are things that come and go - the latest and greatest 'marketing fad', 5 easy steps to building a business in your sleep, just do X and you too will be successful overnight. It's enough to drive someone nutty just trying to keep up! 😜

And there are things that stand the test of time...  

GETTING STUFF DONE stands the test of time.  

When you are in the business of getting stuff done - be it as a VA, OBM, marketing expert, bookkeeper, tech whiz or otherwise - YOU are in a business that stands the test of time.  

People always need to hire those who can get stuff done. Who can do the work. Drive projects to completion. It never goes out of style. It isn't just a passing fad.  

But here's the thing... there is only so much of you to go around, right?  

And if you want to grow your business, we need to look at the very real truth that your TIME is your greatest asset... and your biggest bottleneck.  

Let's take a look at the life cycle of a growing service business:  

  • you hang up your shingle and start hustling for clients 💪
  • get your first few clients, figure out what you like/don't like 
  • get your ideal clients and start rocking out your biz 
  • word gets around that you are awesome and before you know it, you are full 🙌
  • BUT you want to keep growing!
  • and there isn't anymore time in the day to take on new clients
  • what to do?  

First and foremost, let's pause here for a moment of congratulations on being full. You've reached an important milestone in the success of your business. (Pat yourself on the back... no really.... I'll wait)  

And like any important milestone in the growth of a business, it opens the doorway to a new problem. New level new devil, as my mentor likes to say.  

Being full = a CAPACITY problem. There simply isn't anymore of YOU to go around, which means there is no capacity to take on new clients.

In order to increase capacity you need to get more 'hands on deck' that can do the work.  

More hands = more capacity More capacity = more clients More clients = more money

Profitability is one of the bigger challenges in the agency model - it's easy to not charge enough while paying your team too much, leaving little for you! Using our proven money game process, we will find the 'just right' pricing for your higher-end packages to ensure you are profitable from day one.
