Tina, I have a crazy question for you – where can I obtain several of those cute little “Got Stress” dolls that were in a kit I rec’d recently? I know some acquaintances who could use it:O) Know what I mean?? :O)

I ordered those from a promo company to give away at our booth at a couple of events earlier this year. It was 4imprint I believe? can’t remember the name off hand but it’s some kind of squeezy guy. they are fun, I agree. πŸ™‚

hi Tina, I have to log in with my experience that I’m calmer in my mind once I have gotten the email’s that needs answering out of the way before diving into my ‘creating my future’ project for the day. I have come across the no-inbox-first-thing-in-the-morning advice before and have tried it out for extended periods of time but find the other way works better for me. It also gives me a slow wake up of my brain, sort of puttering for while before jumping into the big things. The point I’m trying to make is that for some people it make work the other way round better and that it is more important to try different approaches to find the ones that work you personally as opposed to following advice blindly.

Totally get it Gitte – so long as you come back to the stuff that needs to get done it’s all good.

Love this idea! Ditto on the new hair color. πŸ™‚ A colleague of mine suggested devoting one hour a day for answering emails – preferably 4-5 pm. Not sure if I can get through all of my emails in an hour, but I like the idea. How do you handle email?

I check my email throughout the day – i can’t do the “check it once” thing either. When i’m in the middle of a project/call I will close my inbox though or I get too distracted.

Hi Tina, thank you for this reminder to set up a Day # of things to do. I have heard it in many forms (Daily 6, daily 7, top 5, etc). I really like the 3 Things Today approach.

Also, totally random, LOVE the new hair color! πŸ™‚

Personally I like the idea of 3 – it doesn’t seem like “too much” you know? And thanks re: hair. πŸ™‚

    Tina,
I’d heard these from you before this video (ALWAYS good to get a refresher!) and have been actively implementing these strategies for about 6 months now. I have them written on bright green sticky notes and taped to my monitor to remind myself. I can’t tell you how much it’s helped me! πŸ™‚ Good stuff!
