Work Less and Make More… Really?

This might sound mighty strange coming from me, but I think the idea of “work less and make more” is highly overrated… not too mention unrealistic for most entrepreneurs.

Would love to hear your thoughts – be sure to post them here, k?

    I agree Tina, it is about working differently, not working less.  I also think that when we love what we do and we’re passionate about what we’re bringing to the world, why would we want to only work 4 hours anyways?  Being productive and contributing through work is an essential element of a life well lived.

    Make more… Once you make more, you look for more work, or training, or self- development opportunities… I totally agree with you, making more means really working normal business hours.. no evenings, no weekends…

    I actually worked less when I had a corporate job. For the past 3 years I have been engulfed in my business and its totally worth it. I have never worked only 4 hours a week, and don’t think that I ever will.  I completely agree with what you said in the video.  :)

    First of all Tina, I continue to love your teachings and I find your essence and your style to be so refreshing.  Thanks for being and doing you.

    Second, even Tim Ferriss admitted on a telecall that he doesn’t only work 4hrs a week.  He basically said he “works 4hrs/wk on the stuff he doesn’t like doing, but he works more than 4hrs/wk.” Lastly, I’m committed to “working differently” and moving towards working less and making more(but not the unrealistic level of working less and making more that floats around in Bullshit Land). I’m putting my team and systems in place more and more every day.  It’s about to get WAY better. Wahoo!!

    At last. I know I need Infusionsoft, but I also knew there was a learning curve. There are so many pieces and parts to put together as I plan my venture, that some days it’s a cloud – a whirling funnel cloud. Your Infusionsoft training seems ideal. My worry is that I don’t have a ‘list’ at this point, so I don’t have a target to aim the messaging at. Is this show-stopper?

    Right on!  With the right systems in place you are doing the things you love to do so the impression is that you are working less.  Now what do you do about the people who don’t think you work at all because your office is in the basement of your house?

    I love your message, Tina, and glad to hear someone speak it. I appreciate that we can go on auto pilot for some of our business essentials but if I’m not working, well, I’m not working!

    How about, “Make 10x more money putting in the same amount of time you already are, but the work feels like living your purpose rather than grinding out marketing strategies”?  I find that leads to a perfect Work/Life balance because you never feel like you’re ‘working’ and you get to really ‘live’ because you’re not worried about the financial aspect.
