Good question and food for thought! I think as far as my business is concerned, I am in reactive mode. But, I am in proactive mode when dealing with my clients and their business!

This is a great and useful distinction. I think I’m scared of planning because I’m fearful I’ll get in over my head, so instead I stay uncommitted to all of the ideas of what I’d like to do in my head…easier and safer, it’s true. Thank you for the insight.

great insight Hillary – so what are you doing to change that? 🙂

  • Unfortunately, when you’re not the boss, you’re always in reactive mode. And it’s usually not fun. 🙂

are you referring to a client Mary? is there anything you can do to “nudge” them to proactive mode? (we talk about that alot in our OBM training)
